Pony Club Australia is the national governing body of Pony Club in Australia. Its members are all of the state and territory Pony Club Associations. Pony Club Australia is flourishing – with over 850 active Clubs and over 40,000 members making Pony Club the largest equestrian organisation in Australia.
And, Pony Clubs across Australia have celebrated the 80th anniversary of Pony Club Australia (PCA) this year. And – of course, Arcadia Pony Club joined the celebrations by creating a troop drill of riders and ponies riding the shape of the numberb”80” which was filmed by a drone as their way of passing on a celebratory message to Pony Club Australia.
The finished product is a short video with accompanying music that demonstrates the fun and skills of our riders and ponies!
Celine Buonbera, Arcadia Pony Club’s Senior Instructor said ”Our members thoroughly enjoyed making the video and although it took several takes, there was lots of laughter all round. We start each of our rally days with our gear check then troop drill; it is an excellent method of warming up horses before more concentrated work is commenced.“
The celebrations also included cupcakes, fabulous raffle prizes from our wonderful sponsors including Horseland Dural, Saddleworld Dural and Luxelicious Beauty and Homewares.
Make sure you check out the Arcadia Pony Club Inc Facebook page the video and like and follow our page for updates on our exciting year!
