I’ve always had a deep love for telling stories. During my years at Northholm Grammar in Arcadia I was always involved in music and the arts. When I did my first degree I was only interested in projects that contained visual media and after my first show with Dural Musical Society back in 2005 I knew that I had to continue creating. So I guess you could say that telling stories is in my blood.
After gaining formal qualifications in filmmaking I went on to work alongside some of the best marketers, agencies, directors and film crew in the country. I’ve held positions as an editor, producer, director, creative producer, senior producer and executive producer over the past decade, and created everything from training videos for Aldi through to national TV commercials for brands like Sir Walter and Kambrook.
During this period my wife and I also decided to set up home and raise our young family in beautiful Glenorie. To say we’re in love with this area is probably an understatement, so working locally for me is a dream come true.
So today I find myself in the lucky position of doing what I’m passionate about every day. Currently my focus is very much on video for social media – and I spend a lot of my time creating videos and content for my client’s social channels, which I absolutely love.
As a content consultant and producer I’m currently working with a range of businesses to help them plan, produce and implement great video and other creative content into their marketing strategies. I get to understand my client’s businesses, work with them to develop strategies and creative concepts that will help tell their stories and ultimately engage their customers. The Hills District has always given so much to me, and now I’m excited to be able to help the local community.
If you’re looking for new ways to grow your business online, or have any questions in general about how video can work for business I’d love to help.
