Allegro Regional Menu Luncheons

For a second time because of the Sydney Covid lockdown Allegro have moved their French Frolic luncheon to Wednesday 18 August.

After the success of their Festa Italiana and Spagna regional lunches this year, the program of events continues, this month Allegro is shining the culinary spotlight on France – the largest country in Continental Europe. We have been working on a menu that will truly express authentic French bistro dishes.

On 25 August the Festa Italiana continues with the central Italian region of Umbria in the spotlight. A region best known for its porchetta, salsiccia secca, truffles, Pecorino & Caciotta Cheeses.

On 29 September the last of our regional menu lunches has the spotlight on Piedmont…at the foothills to the Alps as the name implies. A region is very close to my heart as it’s where my father was born and raised.

Regional specialities such as Risotto, Vitello Tonnato, Brasato al Barolo, and desserts like Bunet and famous wines like Spumante, Barolo and Barbaresco have Piedmont high on the list on must see food & wine regions.

4 courses and all drinks for just $65pp, book now to make sure you get a seat. Keep a check on the website for any last-minute covid changes.
