Magic in the Making!

Galston High School students have been hard at work rehearsing for the upcoming musical, The Wizard of Oz, with tickets now on sale!

With an all-singing, all-dancing cast, the students are putting the final polish on their parts. A set that that transforms the school hall into the land of Oz is receiving its final licks of paint. Lighting and sound are being put in place, ready to bring this family favourite musical to life. Most importantly, the students are having an incredible experience!

“I am very proud to be a part of the the school musical, it is really exciting to see it all come together as we get closer to opening night. Its a really fun and positive environment. Everyone is so talented and I can’t wait for the the rush of performing with this big musical family.”  – Toby Rowe, “The Lion”

“I play the Tinman in the musical and really enjoy the experience. Seeing everyone working so hard to make this musical happen – whether it be the actors, directors or the set builders – is amazing. I love acting and expressing myself through it. I’m looking forward to the performances.” – Emilia Ward, “The Tinman”

“I am absolutely loving being a part of the musical! It has been so fun and as a whole group we are really coming along. Playing Dorothy in the musical has been so fun working with everyone and doing different things with them. We are moving so fast as a whole and it’s coming along really well. I love being in the musical doing singing, acting and dancing. The Wizard of Oz is such a fun musical and it has really brought everyone together as a big family.” – Jacqueline Attard, “Dorothy”
