Bromeliad Spring Show

The Bromeliad Society of Australia’s Spring Show will be held at the Federation Pavilion, Castle Hill Showground on Saturday, 30 September 9-4 and Sunday, 1 October 10-3.

Rare and exquisite bromeliads from local and interstate growers will be on display and available for sale to the public including the award winning Elizabeth Mudriczki, Glenorie’s Allan Beard, Jan and Jon

Townsend from Bonville, Angela and Gary Fleming and the Tillandsia experts Chris and Lap Larsen. Chris and Lap Larsen are renowned Tillandsia growers and they will have a large range of their plants at the Bromeliad Spring Show.

Chris has been growing Tillandsias since the early 80’s in Melbourne and working professionally with them for the past 30 years.

His interest in these plants has taken him to Central and South America a number of times to gain further knowledge on how they have evolved. Over the years a much wider range of Tillandsias have become available.

There will 20 plant sale tables continuously restocked, books, pots, information and free advice available from experienced bromeliad growers.

There is plenty of parking on site, admission is free to the show and please bring a box for your purchases.
