I haven’t been to the Homestead for quite a few years, so I was eager to revisit this wonderful time capsule of the early history of our beautiful area.

If you have not been yet, or if it has been a while since your last visit, I would urge you to go and have a look at this little gem of a place, so kindly gifted to Hornsby Shire by the Fagan Family. The Museums and Homestead are open every Tuesday from 10-4, and every second Sunday of the month from 1.30-4pm. There are no official entry charges, but donations are most welcome as all money received goes back into the upkeep and preserving of this magical bucolic setting. And, if like me, you fall in love with Netherby, please consider joining the Friends of Fagan Park who are always grateful for more Volunteers. (see the community contacts section of this issue for further information.)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
