The Ferry Artists are looking forward to welcoming the Hills Mayor, Dr Michelle Byrne, to the presentation of the community artwork created at the Taste of Wisemans 2025 event in Wisemans Ferry last September.
This project, initiated and organised by The Ferry Artists, was a highlight of the Taste of Wisemans event. Our artists worked closely with the community to create a collaborative artwork representative of Wisemans Ferry and the Orange Blossom Festival. The Ferry Artists were joined by many enthusiastic community members of all artistic levels, and we had a wonderful time guiding and working with our community.
With huge thanks to The Hills Council for facilitating this project, Ferry Artists Mellissa Read-Devine, Mim Allan and Carol Gill for the final finessing and Wisemans Ferry Bowling Club for hosting us, we look forward to presenting this colourful and joyous artwork to Mayor Dr Michelle Byrne, 2 pm Thursday 30th April at Wisemans Ferry Bowling Club, Old Northern Road, Wisemans Ferry.
