We encourage our young members to write up events, and the following is a note written by 8-year-old Cub Jessica Edward. Dural Scouts Group
On Wednesday 26th May, the Cubs and Joeys of First Dural Scouts Group were invited to the Galston RFS station. We were shown around the fire station and the fire trucks.
We were lucky enough to be allowed to climb inside the fire trucks and see all the buttons that turn on the flashing lights. We were shown how to put out the fire with a fire hose. We got to wear a fire helmet and jacket as well. We were outside the station and got to see the start of the blood moon lunar eclipse. It was a great night, and we had lots of fun. Thank you to the Galston brigade for taking the time to show us around.

1st Dural Scouts Group meet weekly during the school term at our hall at 414 Galston Rd, Dural.
We cover all levels of scouting, up to Venturers, with both girl and boy members meeting on the following nights:
Joeys (5 – 8 years) Thursdays, Cubs (8 – 11 years) Wednesdays, Scouts (12 – 15 Years), Mondays and Venturers (16 -18) Tuesdays.
