Council has finished the new wombat pedestrian crossing over Merindah Road in Baulkham Hills.
Make sure you keep an eye out for the raised wombat crossing when you are driving along Merindah Road.
The project also included the construction of a pedestrian refuge island at the adjacent road, Boonal Street. The new wombat crossing and refuge island will help improve pedestrian safety in a key location in Baulkham Hills.
