Commencing 16th January, 2018 the Men’s Shed will be open from 9.30am Tuesday and Saturday for members to come and hang out, drink tea, chat and banter, drink more tea and maybe do some shed activities. Activities like woodwork, metalwork, model making, repairs, photography or work on the internet (training will start in new year).
Some health and fitness programs are being investigated to start in the new year with a wish to improve the health and wellbeing of our community members. The idea of the Men’s Shed is that it is a meeting place for members and guests with no pressure or commitment but we do urge all interested and regular visitors to become fully paid-up members so that materials and equipment can be purchased and replaced.
We would also like to bring to everyone’s attention that we have a selection of books from Windsor Library for community members to borrow. These will be swapped over every 2 months to ensure variety.
If anybody has any surplus machinery or tools they no longer require and would like to donate these to the Men’s Shed we would be more than happy to pick these up.
