On Friday 7th December, 43 ladies who undertake regular aqua aerobics classes from any of the 10 classes held at the Galston Aquatic and Leisure Centre joined together at the Galston Club for their Christmas Lunch. Members were invited to bring a Christmas gift suitable for a child in the care of the Wesley Mission and at the end of the lunch the gift table was very well stocked! In the weeks preceding the event, raffle tickets were being sold to help raise funds and donations were received that would also be handed over to Ambassador Hazel Phillips who we are lucky enough to have in our midst also attending classes at the pool. Prizes for the raffle were donated by the members and a total of $650 was handed over to Hazel. New members are always welcome at our classes and next year they too could be part of our fundraising activities.
