Salvation Army

The Salvation Army stores in Dural and Glenorie have opened their doors to welcome in the new year. As always, we are looking forward to greeting all our valued customers with quality items at bargain prices.

Our huge store in Quarry Road, Dural, has many different and varied departments and sub sections: clothing spans outfits for men, women, teens, children, toddlers, babies and fancy dress. Crockery and cutlery ranges from utilitarian, everyday items to collectable vintage and antique pieces. On the electrical shelves you may find everything from toasters and kettles to popcorn makers and slow cook ovens. (All electrical items for sale have been tested for safety and reliability.) Books cover many topics, including fiction, cooking, home improvement, gardening, self development, health, baby and toddler care, history, school texts, and hundreds of children’s books. The shoe shelves are replenished several times a week, as is the toy corner, the linen racks, handbag bays and sporting section. Furniture turns over very quickly so keep an eye out for cupboards, tables, chairs, book shelves and storage cubes.

We run a WISH LIST book and are happy to record your name and request: we will contact you if your item comes in!

Please be mindful that when you leave items on the pavement after we are closed they may not get to us. We appreciate your donations very much: your generosity enables us to inject funds back into the needy sectors of our community. To ensure we receive your goods for resale, please bring them to us during opening hours: Dural 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12.30 pm on Saturday. Our Glenorie shop is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9.30 am to 3 pm.

Staff and volunteers wish everyone a safe, happy and healthy new year.
