In April, 6 members from the CWA Hornsby and District branch volunteered to work in the CWA Tea Rooms at the Royal Easter Show on Seniors Day. Over 400 CWA members volunteered from NSW to work in the CWA Tea Rooms. We baked close to 4,000 scones that day. Many happy visitors said it was on their ‘To Do List’, to enjoy tea and scones at the Show. This event was our largest fund raiser for the year and all funds raised went directly to the CWA of NSW Disaster Relief Fund. So far over $11M has been raised and disbursed to over 6,000 farmers..
