Local Dural Choir, Stay Tuned, selected a great set of tunes for the Australia Day celebrations at Bella Vista Farm this year. Dressed in their traditional greens with a splash of gold for the big day, the crowd enjoyed rocking along to the strains of Steer by Missy Higgins, Throw Your Arms by Hunters and Collectors and Love is in the Air in honour of legendary Aussie songwriter George Young who passed away this year.
The choir also added honorary Aussies, Crowded House to the collection with the all-time favourite Weather with You.
Choir leader, Suze Pratten commented, ‘We really enjoyed singing these songs at Bella Vista on Australia Day – it was great to have a chance to celebrate Australian music in this way. Now in its fifth year our friendly and fun-loving choir welcomes anyone who loves to sing.’
