Another great soccer season culminated with an exciting Grand Final last Saturday, between The Piccolos and The Galstonites, at Hayes park, Galston.
The Piccolos were victorious with a 31 final score despite a fierce counter attack by The Galstonites.
Presentations were held after the game where all teams agreed it had been the best season yet, with happy teams and good friendly competition. This competition would not be possible without the brilliant organisational skills of Karen Robertson who ensures the compruns smoothly each week. Special mention must go to Amanda Brown from the Piccolos for winning the Best and Fairest trophy for the season.
Thank you also to Bob Frier and Glenorie RSL for their generous sponsorship of Hills Hawks Football Club. Many of the players enjoyed a celebratory end of season night at the club who had generously supported them all year.
