SALVOS

Many of us will be glad to farewell this Summer with its raging bushfires and searing heat. With Autumn just around the corner, it will be a blessing to merge gently into milder and, hopefully, less turbulent weather.

At our 2 family stores, staff and volunteers have been working hard to keep up with the generous donations that are brought in to us on a daily basis. Clothing and shoes, in particular, will now be reflecting the Autumn season.

The toy department is always amply stocked with pre- loved items suitable for a range of ages, from babies and toddlers through to teens. We carry push along and pull along toys for toddlers, sturdy ride-ons, bat and ball kits, skipping ropes, jigsaw puzzles (ranging in complexity from simple 8-10 piece wooden slot-ins to 1000 piece sets which challenge the most patient of adults) and a huge variety of games and kits. Our range changes daily as we strive to get items checked and out on display.

If you are donating a batteryoperated toy, can you let us know if it is in working order. Toys needing batteries are often slow to sell and may not appeal to some shoppers.

Our store-wide Half Price days have been immensely popular, so we will be running another on Tuesday 31st March. The Dural store will open its doors at 9am to welcome you. All items in all departments will be marked down by 50% as you get to the register. Bring a friend, have a cuppa in our Community Corner, and enjoy browsing through the many thousands of items waiting for you to purchase.
