This week Hornsby Shire Council opened up some of the new furniture and shelters at McKell Park, near Brooklyn.
Come down this weekend or over the holidays and check out the views, there’s plenty of space. The council will remove the remaining fencing mid December, once the new turf is established.
There’s parking nearby or it’s a seven-minute walk along the waterfront from Hawkesbury River Station.
