Renewed Flood Watch

Renewed Flood Watch For The Hawkesbury, Colo & Macdonald Rivers

From Sunday into Monday and Tuesday heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are forecast across parts of the Hawkesbury-Nepean Valley. This rainfall has the potential to cause renewed river level rises to areas already impacted by flooding.

Although we are seeing a slow drop in the river heights, this new weather event may see the return of Moderate to Major flooding in Hawkesbury and Lower Nepean Rivers; moderate flooding in the Colo River and continued flooding in the Macdonald River.

The Bureau of Meteorology and the NSW SES will continue to provide advise as this new weather event impacts the district.
