The Hawkesbury-Nepean Valley has experienced significant flooding; with the river slowly receding and evacuation orders starting to be lifted, resident of the area are working to clean up the impact of the flood on their house and recover belongings.
With roads remaining dangerous and unsafe in the area, mainly due to road damages, landslides, fallen trees, or trees threatening to fall;
We would like to echo the request from the local community for everyone to support and respect the residents of the area in their recovery by avoiding sightseeing and leaving access clear to emergency vehicles and services trucks working to restore access and services to residents.
The use of drones are not permitted as they present a significant and can potentially halt aviation support to communities in need.
