Heavy rainfall from slow moving thunderstorms over the Blue Mountains and Wollondilly area.
Weather Situation: Slow moving severe thunderstorms are developing on a cold front ahead of an upper low pressure system.
The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 7:55 pm, severe thunderstorms were detected on the weather radar near the northwest parts of the Wollondilly Shire and the Lithgow district. These thunderstorms are moving towards the east. They are forecast to affect Katoomba, Oakdale and the Nattai Tablelands by 8:25 pm and Bargo, the Burragorang State Recreation Area and Picton by 8:55 pm.
