Sunday March 12th – St Benedict’s Monastery Country Fair
The 52 nd annual country fair will be held at St Benedict’s Monastery 121 Arcadia Road Arcadia on Sunday 12th March from 10:30 am. This popular event has food, cakes, plants, entertainment and all the other most-loved aspects of a traditional fete, all set in a charming country setting. All are welcome to come along on the day. Funds raised support Benedictine charitable programs that are caring for some of the world’s poorest people.
Sacramental program for 2017
An information evening will be held on Monday 6th March at the Parish Centre to give parents details of the lead-up to First Holy Communion on Sunday 18th June. For more information contact the Parish Office 96532312 on Monday or Friday between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm.
Irish Dancing
We have almost everything at St Benedict’s, including the fun of Irish dancing lessons on Saturday mornings at the Parish Centre. Call Nerida on 0425834017 if you want to join in or find out more.
New lectern
Our re-vamp of the church building last year has been a great success, and one of the most recent additions is a refurbished lectern. This has a special significance because it is covered with 115-year- old tiles that came from the old Benedictine Convent at Rydalmere. The tiles have a slightly scratched, much-loved patina that adds to their charm. Picture shows the lectern in the foreground with Parish Priest Father Bernard in the background.

St. Benedict's Catholic Church Arcadia; Mass at the Monastery, 121 Arcadia Rd, Arcadia, at 7 am every morning. Mass at the Parish Centre, Corner Fagans Rd & Arcadia Rd. 7 pm Saturday, 9 am Sunday.
