St Benedict’s Christmas Celebrations

Christmas services begin with children’s mass at 7pm on Christmas Eve in the Parish Centre. Later, at 11:45pm, we’ll have Christmas carols followed by Midnight Mass. Christmas Day masses will be at 7am in the Monastery Chapel and 9am in the Parish Centre.

‘Spirit of Giving’ Christmas Banquet 25th December

From 6:30pm to 9:30pm on Christmas Day St Benedict’s Parish will host their annual ‘Spirit of Giving’ Christmas Banquet for people who have no family, are away from family or who would just like to share this special time with others.

The photo shows the beautiful spread at last year’s Spirit of Giving dinner. As organiser Paula said: ‘It was a great night for all the people involved. So many generously dropped off food. Others brought food and stayed. It was a most enjoyable night with violin, piano and singing of carols. It was the true meaning of Christmas sharing a meal with the community.’

You don’t need to be part of the parish to attend. Everyone is welcome: singles, couples and families. Even if you aren’t religious, it’s enjoyable to spend time with other people on this special day. Come help us celebrate!

Venue: St Benedict’s Parish Hall. Corner Fagans and Arcadia Road, Arcadia 2159

RSVP: 20th December to Paul and Paula on 0423078282 or email [email protected]. If you would like any more information, need transport or would like to volunteer on the night, please contact Paul or Paula.
