Best wishes for our Year Six students
In early December St Benedict’s held a very special Children’s Mass to acknowledge and pass on everyone’s best wishes to our local Year Six students as they headed off to high school. We were also privileged on this occasion to have Lachlan Gage, the Special Religious Education Teacher at Galston High School, join us for Mass and to share in congratulating the Year Six graduates. Lachlan, who has been the SRE teacher at Galston High for a number of years, commented on the success of the program at the school and acknowledged the support he receives from the school executive and staff.

St Vincent De Paul Society Christmas Hampers
Our very small but exceptionally hardworking SVDP group organised and delivered hampers in the weeks before Christmas, thereby making sure that many needy families in our area had a much brighter festive season than they otherwise might have. Thanks to all who donated and especially to the SVDP members for their hard work.
Sacramental Program for 2019
A parent information evening will be held on Monday 4 March at 7pm to update families and children who received the Sacrament of Confirmation last August. Reconciliation will he held on Saturday 6 April and First Holy Communion on Sunday 23 June. If you’d like to know more, please contact the Parish Office on 96532312
