Lifting the mask from mental health is something that the Positive Vibes Foundation strives to do.
It will be holding it’s fifth Moonlight Masquerade Ball in the Hills on October 12 in collaboration with major sponsor, the Windsor Road Private Clinic.
The glittering event will be held at Bivianos in Dural and will feature former AFL player Jake Edwards, who runs the organisation, Outside The Locker Room, as guest speaker.
The former Carlton player will talk about his struggles and the challenges of living with depression for the past 10 years.
Tickets are $150 per person.
Masks are available on the night if you don’t have one. There will be raffles, auctions, music and entertainment during the night.
Gold sponsor Lionel D’Cruze from Ironfish said: “I have lost a few of my friends to depression so I hold this close to my heart. Mental health is an area we need to talk about.”
The Windsor Road Private Clinic Moonlight Masquerade Ball is on Friday, October 12 at Biviano’s, 628, Old Northern Rd, Dural.
