On the 21st of May, 1979, Lynn McCrindle OAM commenced as the first school teacher of Pacific Hills Christian School, then called Pennant Hills Christian School. The school began with only eight students, with Lynn as the only teacher, teaching all subjects. Now, in 2024, it is one of ten schools in the Pacific Group of Christian Schools.
Throughout her career Lynn’s dedication to serving the local community and those in need through education and service has been pivotal in both the establishment of the School in Dural, as well as many flourishing ministries that have come out of Pacific Hills.
On the 21st May, 2024, Pacific Hills Christian School celebrated its 45th Anniversary and commemorated the outstanding service of Lynn McCrindle, renaming its MPC to the Lynn McCrindle Multipurpose Centre. This was a wonderful time of celebration, recounting stories of God’s faithfulness over the years and looking to the exciting future of what is yet to come for Pacific Hills Christian School.
As a School community we would like to honour Lynn and her lifetime of service. We also give thanks for the privilege it is to serve our amazing local community and beyond.
