Motivated to uplift community spirit, Nina from Zumba Galston organised a fun-filled flash mob in Fagan’s African Garden.
A project like this takes a lot of planning behind the scenes. Despite the everchanging restriction due to COVID and the challenges of erratic weather and class members away, all participants were thrilled and excited about their success. Exclaiming, ‘we did it’ with jubilation.
Nina says, “It was beautiful to watch such an amazing group of ladies dance with abundant enthusiasm. There were participants from my daytime Galston ladies and those from my evening class in North Kellyville in almost equal numbers. But on this day we were one group. I’m so proud how we all came together for this unifying experience. Whilst I was exhausted and my energy spent…this mother hen was feeling grateful and happy to be surrounded and supported by her dancing peeps.”
WHAT A GREAT START TO 2021!
