Learning, Enjoying and Growing Together

Small schools are fabulous, unique learning environments. Every student is known and appreciated and opportunities for social and emotional growth, relationship building, with high expectations both in and out of the classroom abound. The Small School’s Learning Alliance – Annangrove Public School, Arcadia Public School, Hillside Public School and Middle Dural Public School are excited to announce a fantastic combined school event – an ObstAcool Fun Day on Tuesday, 26 June. Middle Dural Public School will host the event on their beautiful grounds where students will enjoy a day of fitness, fun and friendship, crawling through tunnels, climbing commando nets and jumping through large inflatables.

Recently Arcadia Public School Year 6 student, Maddie, was awarded the title of Junior Highest Point Score in the Interschool Challenge at the Snowy Mountains Equestrian Competition. Congratulations Maddie! What an amazing achievement!

Walk to school day is a community event promoting road safety, health, public transport and the environment. Is there any other place in Australia where it is celebrated quite like Arcadia? We think not! With Arcadia Rural Fire Brigade, ponies, pets, bagpipes and drums and an amazing BBQ to finish the walk, we are truly a special community school. We welcomed Mr Matt Kean MP, State Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation who walked with the students and reinforced the important message of road safety.
