Friday, September 2 is Jersey Day and it’s the perfect time to start the conversation with your family and loved ones about organ donation.
Jersey Day began to honour Hills local Nathan Gremmo and his legacy to help others through organ donation. Nathan loved sports and was described by his family as an extraordinary young man.
The Hills Shire Council is a strong supporter of Jersey Day, and last night we wore our jerseys during our council meeting in solidarity of the cause.
I am also encouraging other businesses and organisations, as well as residents to wear their jersey on September 2 and start a conversation about organ donation.
You can register your decision to donate via the Jersey Day website jerseyday.com.au or donatelife.gov.au. It’s a simple process and takes only a few minutes to do.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
