The Galston & District Community Bank has proudly sponsored the Hills Wildlife Sanctuary with a $25,000 donation. This generous contribution will support the sanctuary’s vital mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and protect native Australian wildlife.
The cheque was officially presented to Ben Dessen, CEO & Director of the Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, during a visit to the sanctuary. He was joined by representatives from the bank, including Savio Pereira, as well as Mayor Warren Waddell, to celebrate the occasion.
Given this is such a unique project for an endangered species endemic to the local Hills area, the funds will provide crucial support to help the sanctuary continue its highly specialized conservation work.
The Hills Wildlife Sanctuary expressed their deep gratitude for the donation, highlighting that such community support is essential for their ongoing operations and the survival of these vulnerable animals. This sponsorship from the Community Bank reflects a strong commitment to local initiatives and the environment.
