The Hills Men’s Shed is a wonderful organisation that has been operating since 2009. Over the years The Shed has been a place for men to come together to enjoy each other’s company, talk, share knowledge and experiences and give back to the community.
Last week The Shed, as it is fondly known, held a sponsors and supporters morning tea. This event is held twice a year giving the shedders an opportunity to thank these wonderful people.
We were pleased to welcome our major sponsors, Grant McEnally and Simon Kowald of Guardian Realty Castle Hill. The generosity of both Grant and Simon assists our Shed to open the doors, enabling us to continue supporting Men’s Health and Wellbeing. We also appreciate the support of everyone connected to the Shed.
The attendance of many of our community leaders is a testament to the important work carried out by The Shed. Thank you Alex Hawke, Federal member for Mitchell, Mark Hodges, State MP for Castle Hill, Dr Peter Gangemi, Mayor of the Hills Shire Council and Councillor Frank De Masi.
We had the pleasure of welcoming Bunnings and many other supporters during the morning. We thank you and appreciate your ongoing support and for attending on the day.
Beginning in June on every second Friday, you can find shed members at Castle Hill Bunnings operating the barbecue. Stop by for a sausage or to have a chat with some of our members. Why not stop by the shed for a visit to see what the shed is all about.
