HILLS HARMONY CHORUS INC

Men singing in Harmony is a fantastic sound! The range of voices from high to the very low is a dynamic sound and makes for beautiful music. Based in the Hills District, Hills Harmony Chorus is a men’s choir which sings in 4 part acapella close Harmony. We love our music, we love performing and we have a great time together.

2019 was a very busy year for the Chorus, we performed at a total of 16 events which included 9 gigs, 4 busking sessions and 3 competitions. Most of the busking sessions were a first for us and we enjoyed doing them immensely. We sang at Castle Towers, Hornsby Mall, Dural Mall and Rouse Hill town centre.

Perhaps one of our most enjoyable events is our annual sing out at Christmas time at Stockland Mall, Baulkham Hills. At that time of year, the Mall is full of happy shoppers with their families and the crowds gather around us and show they love what we do with their applause and smiling faces. It’s such good fun! 2020 will be another busy year for the chorus as we will be holding our usual weekly rehearsals each Thursday evening and attend several competitions with our highlight for the year being our concert to be held on 10th October in the Pioneer Theatre at Castle Hill. (Same building as Hill Shire library). It will be fantastic concert featuring the chorus (of course!), some of our quartets and a variety of supporting acts.

Closer to the day, more details and tickets will be available on our website www.hillsharmony.com.au/ Our concert is a charity event supporting Lifeline.

We love our music, we love performing and we have a great time together. We are a band of brothers and always on the lookout for more guys to join our friendly team. In this regard, on Thursday 6th of February commencing 7:30 PM, we will be holding an “open night “at our rehearsal venue, 45 President Road Kellyville.

So, if you like singing and feel you would enjoy singing with like-minded men, then we would love you to come along to our open night on the 6th. It’s free, and we promise a fun filled evening with a light supper at the end. Please register your interest on our website. OR contact one of our members below.
