General Business
The Ray Whiteman Heritage Fence planning continues. The GPA welcomed Karl van Middeldyk of Aussie Stonemasons to the latest meeting where Karl presented the option of carving the main pillars of the fence in stone and with a local and heritage theme. The concept would be that various businesses and individuals would be able to sponsor the posts. More information will be provided as planning progresses.

Car sharing could be coming to Hornsby Shire. Councillor Warren Waddell circulated GoGet’s proposal for the HSC.

The issue of horse riding on roads was raised. Commuters need to be aware that horses are entitled to be ridden on local roads. As people work from home and social distancing is enforced, cycling and horse riding are a great way of getting out and about without putting yourself at risk (of contact). Therefore drivers need to be conscious that there may be increased activity on our roads.
