Following a fun-filled and enjoyable year the Glenorie Probus Club had its AGM. The President Dale Lithgow’s efforts over the last twelve months were endorsed by all members. She was re-elected for the next year and the club looks forward to a further year of varied and exciting club activities along with interesting and informative Guest Speakers with Dale as President.
The fascinating and informative visit to the Ramses exhibition at the Museum in which members were able to see unique and well preserved antiques from the life of one of Egypt’s great leaders from the past was a highlight for the members. However a change is scheduled for the next outing.
The Club is heading north for the day for its April visit. This will be a trip to Budgewoi for a fish and chips lunch and look at the area. On the way there we will be stopping at Brooklyn for morning tea.
The Club is planning a number of speakers at our April meeting who will each give a short talk on war events related to Anzac day. There will be a display of Anzac memorabilia and other associated items.
The Club meets on the at 11.00am on the 4th Wednesday of the month at Glenorie RSL and new members are welcome.
