Sunday Family Service 10am

So Spring has sprung – time to get back out into the garden!

Which also means we’ve just hosted our annual ‘Blessing of the fleet’ service for our local RFS folks. As ever, it was a great day & we’re so grateful to all the ‘minions’ (thanks Steve!) who were able to come along, the many support team members, officers & chaplains of the RFS as well as our friends from Hillslife Church & other members of the community – it was a great celebration of all those amazing volunteers who serve our communities so selflessly. Thank you also to all of the volunteers on the day who brought, prepared, served & helped to clean up a big, big lunch.

Now it’s time for me to finish building that vegie patch I started constructing in June… Away from my domestic challenges… our next ‘Messy Church’ morning will be on 11th September from 10am. For those who know me – ‘Messy Church’ is NOT about me being even scruffier than usual! It’s more a morning focused on life, faith & fun for kids & the young at heart. Come along & see!

As we did last year, we’ll also be helping out with the Garden Club for the Galston Open Gardens – I look forward to meeting some of you on the day 

As ever, there’s lots going on at Galston Uniting Church. Don’t hesitate to drop us a line or even drop by to learn more.

See you next month, take care, Geoff
