In August 2022 fire swept through a French Country Manor home situated in Hartley in the Blue Mountains destroying most of the rural acreage home.
The time poor professional owners reached out to Hills based Interior Designer Lurleen Kirkwood (I for Style, Interior Design) for the manor to be reimagined. I for Style partnered with Eberones Homes and recently they were awarded the top 2026 award by the Master Builders Association NSW Western District for renovations over $1.5 million.
Rebuilt to a true French Country Manor style and populated with unique pieces from both the past and the present eras, this home is now being noticed. It has been featured by timber mouldings manufacturer, Intrim Mouldings (https:// intrimmouldings.com.au/our-work/residential/hartley-house-farmrenovation/) because of the extensive use of high-quality finish wainscoting, traditional style skirtings, architraves and custom joinery.
Lurleen and the team at I for Style have completed many interior design and colour consulting projects for new builds and renovations within the wider Hills Districts acreage and residential area.
