Elude Escape Rooms Galston

Some 170 people celebrated Elude Escape Rooms’ 5th birthday in Galston last month with an afternoon of puzzling and food.

The event doubled as the launch of Elude’s newest offering, an Outdoor Escapade titled ‘Stumped’, the first experience of its kind in Sydney.

Despite a threatening weather forecast, Elude owners Darren Bonaccordo and Julia Billyard hosted their loyal customers, family and friends for the happy occasion.

After an afternoon stroll around the grounds, guests played and solved the handmade puzzles that Elude is now famous for.

Guests were then treated to coffee from Sunrise Mobile Cafe, burgers from Jimmy’s Smash Burgers and ice cream from Windsor Ice Cream Cafe.

Darren said his new offering ‘Stumped’ is different to a typical Escape Room, taking players from the grand indoors into the great outdoors.

While most players will be content to grab their team and play for fun, ‘Stumped’ has the distinct advantage of allowing two or more teams to go head-to-head for a more competitive challenge.

With capacity for 8 teams playing at the same time, ‘Stumped’ is ideal for large groups who want a team based challenge. It’s great for big gatherings, be it for sports clubs, school classes, corporate team building, and church or social groups.

The Mid-Dural Road location has a range of big puzzles scattered around the grounds and among the trees, and it is this green theme that runs through many of the puzzles. Where a scavenger hunt would also have players running around, Elude has used its location to accommodate manipulative puzzles, ranging from the small and mischievous to the large and head-scratchingly tricky.
