Edwards and Annangrove Roads Roundabout Update

New Roundabout at Edwards and Annangrove Roads: Safer and Smoother Commute on the Horizon.

The Hills Shire Council is constructing a new roundabout at the intersection of Edwards and Annangrove Roads. This project aims to improve safety and reduce congestion in the area, ultimately creating a more pleasant driving experience for motorists.

Currently, the project involves the installation of stormwater drainage and the burying of underground utilities, including water, phone, internet, gas, and electricity lines. While these works are essential, they can be disruptive to traffic flow.

To ensure the safety of both motorists and workers, concrete barriers have been placed, and the speed limit has been reduced to 40 kilometers per hour.

The Council acknowledges the inconvenience caused by these measures and advises drivers to plan their journeys accordingly. Using alternative routes and allowing extra travel time are recommended during construction.

The Council is actively working with contractors to optimize traffic management throughout the construction phase. The project is expected to be completed in early 2025.
