Dural Pony Club

The wet weather doesn’t bother Dural Pony Club, because we just have a wet weather rally day instead!

During the torrential rains in March and early April, we were forced to have two wet weather rally days. This is where the kids come, without their horses but have the opportunity to learn so much more about the mount they bring to Pony Club. We have sessions where they work through their certificate book and on completion of these books patches are awarded.

More recently we had a Specialist Nurse come to the Club to give us all a talk and some practical work on First Aid and Resuscitation techniques, which both parents and kids found interesting. We had a show rider come and give us many tips on how to present your horse for a show and we also had a session where the kids were learning how to tie many different types of useful knots.

Thank you to all our Volunteers and Parents involved in Dural Pony Club we are very fortunate to have great resources so readily available to Dural Pony Club.

Thank you to our consistent sponsors Saddle world, Horseland & Bendigo Bank we appreciate your ongoing support.
