The new Dine and Discover Program will create an economic boost for local dining, arts and tourism businesses who have been impacted by COVID-19. The program will offer four $25 vouchers to every NSW resident aged over 18 to spend on these local businesses. The program is yet to go live, however, the Government strongly advises NSW businesses to apply for the program online via their MyServiceNSW Business Profile. This is a win-win for our community and I look forward to seeing people out and about in using their vouchers later this year.
Investment in our NSW National Parks
As Environment Minister I was thrilled to announce the biggest infrastructure investment in the history of NSW National Parks.
The NSW Government will invest $257 million in delivering 170 new and improved community infrastructure projects across National Parks in NSW. With an average of over 18.5 million visits to NSW National Parks over the summer and the visitors continuing to increase during COVID, I am excited to see improvements rolled out in our National Parks.
Free Legal Aid Diary
My Hornsby Office has plenty of free Legal Aid diaries for seniors in our community. The diary has resources and information about retirement villages, family finances, the pension, elder abuse and scams. You can pick one up from Suite 5, The Maddison, 25-29 Hunter Street Hornsby or call 9476 3411.
