A big shout out to our performing arts, Dance and music students at Pacific Hills Christian School for receiving nearly 20 major awards at their most recent competitions.
OneMaker Academy attended the City Lights Dance Festival and the dance troupes gave their all – resulting in SR Jazz Any Style, SR & R Contemporary and SR Classical/Demi coming first in their categories.
Seven more troupes scored second places in their categories including SR Lyrical, SR & R Speed Tap and SR Musical Theatre/Broadway Jazz. Then, three more came third.
OneMaker Academy also received several Highly Commended awards. (It’s time for a bigger trophy cabinet!)
Meanwhile, over at the Hawkesbury Eisteddfod, our Vivace Strings, Concert Band 3 and Advanced Jazz group took out first place in their presentations. Second place went to Concert Bands 1 and 2 in theirs.
It has been another momentous month for our Pacific Hills-OMA staff and students. We like seeing our student body use their individual God-given giftings with such passion.
