Nothing encapsulates the spirit of the CWA quite like an afternoon tea. Sitting round a table and sharing a hot pot of tea, scones piled high with jam and cream, unwinding from daily stresses with friendly faces and planning secret women’s business.
Actually, there is no secret! And the CWA is not just for bakers, sewers, or retirees either. It is a community of friendship, belonging and charity for all walks, regardless of age or ability. Spend an afternoon meeting the local CWA members and see what we are all about.
Our members range in age from juniors of just 2 years old to veterans of 90+ years. We are a warm and friendly bunch always looking for new members, new causes and new ideas.
