Council has awarded eight Community Grants totalling $43,776, allowing local community groups to deliver projects that are vital to The Hills.
The projects that secured funding under the Community Grant Program include
- Friends of Bella Vista Farm – $5000 for paths at Bella Vista Farm
- Rotary Club of Kenthurst – $8070 for upgrading play equipment at Kenthurst Rotary Park
- RDA Tall Timbers – $1,706 to improve a therapy garden
- Fit Kidz Foundation – $9,500 for the Connecting and Supporting Families Conference
- Norwest Anglican Church – $4,000 for the Norwest Jazz on the Green concert
- Hills Shire Symphony Orchestra – $5,000 for 2022 season concerts
- Sydney Hills Youth Orchestra – $7,500 for concerts in The Hills Shire
- Frontline Yoga – $3,000 to train volunteer yoga teachers, who will provide classes to local frontline personnel
