Childhood Immunisations

Children need immunisations against many diseases. This protects them while their immune systems are still developing, and prevents them from getting serious diseases.

The immunisation program for children is fully government funded, and starts from birth through to 4 years of age, providing protection against nine childhood diseases. Following this, a school-based program for adolescence commences at 12 years of age.

At Medical Centre At Round Corner, our GPs can support the childhood vaccination program. We also offer a catch up program for children 10 – 19 years if any of the immunisations have been missed.
