Work is progressing in Baulkham Hills Town Centre with new pavement, street furniture and lighting installed and much more to come.
Hills Shire Mayor Dr Michelle Byrne said the project was about making Baulkham Hills Town Centre a more attractive place to live, catch up with friends and shop.
“Baulkham Hills Town Centre is in the middle of a major transformation. Old properties are being purchased by developers who are building higher-density living to accommodate our growing population,” Mayor Byrne said.
“Council wants to do its part to breathe new life into the town centre. That’s why we’re replacing the street pavement, lighting and furniture.”
The project is expected to be complete in two to three months.
“We’ve got more lighting, pavement, furniture, garden beds and planter boxes to come.”
