Residents of The Hills Shire’s Rural North can look forward to a hassle-free Australia Day celebration this year, as The Hills Shire Council is trialling a FREE bus service.
This shuttle provides an easy way for rural residents to participate in the exciting Australia Day Fun at the Farm event taking place at Bella Vista Farm.
With designated pick-up and drop-off points at Wisemans Ferry Park and South Maroota Hall, this service enables residents to enjoy the evening without the hassle of almost an hour’s drive.
The bus service will operate on Sunday, January 26, and follow the schedule below:
Pick-up times and locations:
- 4:00pm – Wisemans Ferry Park, Old Northern Road, Wisemans Ferry
- 4:30pm – South Maroota Hall, Wisemans Ferry Road, South Maroota
- 5:15pm- The shuttle will arrive at Bella Vista Farm
Once the celebrations wind down after the fireworks, the bus service will depart the Farm at 9:30pm to transport registered attendees back to Wisemans Ferry and South Maroota.
