ART.AND … ‘Discover Something New’

Our exciting, rescheduled art event is forging ahead and set to take place in March. Once again, this second event in the ART.AND series will take place over two weekends (March 12-13, 19-20 2022).

This will enable visitors to comfortably attend our primarily outdoor event while enjoying meeting our artists and soaking up the magnificent range of artworks.

With COVID-19 restrictions easing, Australians are venturing out more and more locally. In this spirit of exploration, our new event will focus on the Australian spirit of discovery. The Arthouse Pavilion Gallery, nestled in its bushland paradise in Dural, Sydney, will showcase an eclectic collection of paintings, ceramics, photography, textiles, jewellery and sculptures – as well as handmade and unique collectables in resin, wood, stainless steel and recycled materials.

The exhibition will bring together 14 contemporary artists from a range of disciplines celebrating their craft as part of a dual weekend art festival.

ART.AND… ‘Discover Something New’ will invite visitors to discover the beauty of this unique gallery setting and its’ surrounding outdoor exhibits. Attendees will also be able to purchase original and handmade pieces (over a thousand pieces from which to choose) directly from the artists on the day.

ART.AND… ‘Discover Something New’ will encourage visitors to embark on a personal journey of discovery where they can sign up for a range of art workshops (to be held after the event) to discover art techniques and skills from the artists exhibiting whose hands paint, hammer, twist, bend, fire, print, and weld. Attendees can learn to print cyanotypes or to carve a medieval wooden spoon, to hone their photography skills, learn how to hang a collage of paintings – and more!

Tickets are free. The event is a registered COVID-19 safe event. Visitors will be required to pre-register or register on the day to secure their free ticket to attend, wear a face mask and adhere to social distancing requirements
