Arcadia Public School Before and After School care centre has been growing and going from strength to strength since it was established in 2011. It’s true that Arcadia PS has a fabulous family feel to it and the Before and After School care centre is no different. The children are greeted with a welcoming smile each morning and afternoon by Aisha, our talented and experienced educator. Aisha provides high quality programs focused on the children’s interests, strengths and individual needs. Her happy, calm personality, love of art and craft, nature and cooking ensure fun and varied activities for the children in a secure and happy environment.
Harmony day is an important occasion across Australian schools as we celebrate our multicultural society and build understanding of diversity, acceptance and belonging. On March 21 our Mandarin language teacher, Miss Goh, planned a great variety of interesting experiences to engage our students and immerse them in Chinese culture. Thank you also to the kind and talented parents who cooked us a delicious Chinese meal to enjoy on the day. That week Year 6 hosted a fabulous Harmony Day dance to welcome our Kindergarten students and their families. There was pizza, music, friends and ice cream. Life’s hard at Arcadia PS!
