AGRA’s first event for 2023 is a social one. The AGRA committee is hard at work organising a free community BBQ for all residents of Galston, Arcadia, Fiddletown, and Berrilee. We hope this will be the first of many events aimed at building community connection.
On Sunday 12 March from 3pm, the 2159 community is invited to Arcadia Community Hall for a free BBQ. The relaxed afternoon will be a great opportunity to socialise with other locals, make new friends & re-establish community connections (thanks Covid!). If you are a recent arrival to the area, come along and meet other 2159-ers. You will be warmly welcomed! Do you have new neighbours? Why not take this opportunity to invite them along?
AGRA will provide free BBQ (sausages/onions/bread rolls) and a grazing table for everyone to enjoy. Bring your own drinks, plates, and picnic blanket/basket. If it’s raining the event will go ahead using Arcadia Hall’s undercover spaces.
For catering purposes, a ticket is required. To book your free ticket go to TryBooking at https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1021027, visit the AGRA website http://www.agra2159.com.au or use the QR code on the event invitation on this page.
2159 locals are encouraged to become members of AGRA. Your input is needed so that a broad range of local issues are addressed. The collective voice of your resident’s association helps ensure that our elected representatives and other organisations hear about local issues. Visit the AGRA website or Facebook page for membership details.
The first AGRA meeting of 2023 will be held in early April at The Galston Club, date tbc. Financial members will receive an email confirming the date/time of the meeting. Please contact AGRA if you would like a local issue raised or if you have suggestions for guest speakers or community events/functions.
We look forward to seeing you in 2023.
