The Hills Shire Summer School Holiday Program offers free activities in January, helping children have fun while easing costs for parents, carers and guardians.
The program includes an NRL Clinic, art class, gaming and technology workshops, Tennis Fun Day and a family movie screening of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants with free popcorn.
Mayor Dr Michelle Byrne said the program takes the guesswork out of holiday planning:
“As a mother of three young children, I know how hard it can be to work out what activities to book the kids into. We’ve taken the guesswork out of holiday planning and are making our programs free so that we can help families spend less and enjoy quality time together over this busy period.”
“There’s a great range of activities available, which gives kids the opportunity to try something new or engage in one of their hobbies while making new friends.”
