Dural Cub Scouts have been busy doing several exciting scout activities these last two terms: Camping, Canoeing, Cycling, Bushcraft, and Bushwalking skills.
B R A V O to Dural Cubs for winning a fierce Hills District intra Cooking competition recently and qualifying for the GWS Regional Cook Out Competition, where they were winners once again!
In the coming Terms our Cubs will take part in several short and long-distance hikes challenging themselves over steep ascents and descents enjoying nature and hopefully finishing with a great sense of accomplishment.
Each week at Cub meetings there is lots of excitement and fun, learning and doing various activities at the same time building confidence and acquiring problem solving skills.
If these are the skills and opportunities you’d like to offer your child, then don’t hesitate. Dural Scout Group welcomes visitors who would like to come and spend a couple of weeks trying out Scouting.
